Oh the cookies we’d make! I teach Spanish K-5 and for our color unit my first graders decorate teddy bear cookies (Brown Bear, Brown Bear theme) following specific color instructions. What a great idea! Thanksgiving evening, my grandchildren (and now my great-grandchildren) come to my home and we paint and decorate cookies usually until 10 or 11 pm. I am proud to say that after 21 years, I was still the last one standing.

I am still very green and I’m not ready for selling my cookies so I give them to friends and family along with your site information. I went to Cookie Con last year and I was amazed with what you can do with cookies. I love watching you tutorials and any other ones out there. Love your site! So many great things to play with so little time. I’ve been decorating since I was 13 and my mom signed me up for a class through the local community college that was being taught at night at my Jr. High School. After that I did it professionally for 13 years before deciding to go back to school and become an ultrasound technician. Pretty big change but I love it. Well now I’m getting back into decorating a little more often and have really started to work on cookie decorating which I really love! I somehow volunteered myself to make all the cakes, cookies, cupcakes etc. for a co-workers wedding (as well as for her bridal shower) next year since she is on a tight budget and I wanted to help her out, those sprinkles would be a great addition to my decorating extravaganza!!
